How you doing? It's heating up and molotov usk are getting sweaty in the rehearsal studio in preparation for the upcoming gigs. We're getting tighter and tighter and the vast quantities of Asahi Super Dry we are consuming seem to only add to the creative flow. We are blasting out killer tunes almost as often as Bruce goes to the toilet. Anyway, we hope you can make it along to the two shows in Nagoya on the 28th of June and July 19th in Hamamatsu. Bit late to be telling you but the next gig is at HOUSE OF CRAZY in Toyohashi on May 10th. Door opens at 8pm and the music starts at 8.45pm. See the flyer! Come on down!

Hi there everyone! This is Bruce with my first contribution to the new blog (other than saying nice work to Pete and Miyuki, which is an all important role......Actually I'm not sure I even did that so 'nice work Pete and Miyuki') Anyway back to the point. Being a big supporter of drummers in general and knowng the grief we all get, such as constant drummer jokes, I'd like to open a competition to all the new drummers, or just anyone who wants to pick up a pair of sticks and have a go. As you know we have recently released a CD and my challenge is to get as many people as possible having a go at the drums The first person to send me an MP3 sound file of them doing four or more Molotov usk drum tracks wins a prize. You can copy the drums on any four songs that you wish and can bang them out on pots and pans but the patterns and fills have to be the same as the origionals. If you succeed (which I'm sure most people can) then you will win a Pearl snare drum and bag and two pairs of tama sticks in a stick bag....These are my own items so the sticks will be the only real new things but the other stuff's pretty much new and will be useful to anyone starting drumming. I'll post the winner on the blog as soon as I get the drum tracks that I qualify as a win. The down side is that if you live too far away you may have to pay postage as I'm a stinge but if you live close you can pick it up at the next gig....Hell, if you play really well I may even ask the guys in the band if you can play a song at the next gig, that way I can have a beer break.
